Mission
The passionate heart-beat at the centre of the WOW Project is the desire to broaden the perspectives of our communities through words. Words shape and form our various projects and serve as the catalyst that identifies, unlocks and develops the potential through which our communities are empowered.
Objectives
- The WOW project uses words to expand vision and create awareness of the wonder that can be found in books and reading.
- WOW strives to encourage pride in mother-tongue speakers for their language and a love of language through the creative use of language and spelling projects.
- WOW encourages creative and effective communication and a development of knowledge and appreciation for the arts through language.
- WOW encourages and supports tertiary study for members of the WOW community.
